The Four Cs, Simply Explained
Whichever origin you choose, the same four things shape a diamond's brilliance and value.
C
Cut
Refers to a diamond's proportions and finish, not just its shape. A well-cut diamond reflects light beautifully, the difference between a stone that sparkles and one that just sits there.

Colour
Graded from D (colourless) to Z (a visible tint). The less colour present, the rarer and generally the more valuable, the diamond.

Clarity
A measure of natural inclusions formed as the diamond grew. Most are invisible to the naked eye, we'll always show you exactly what you're looking at, under magnification.

Carat
Simply the weight of a diamond, not to be confused with size alone, cut and shape can make two equal-carat diamonds look quite different.
