MINED VS LAB GROWN,
WHICH SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?
We are often asked for our opinion on which Diamond to choose - a Mined Diamond or a Laboratory Grown Diamond. We feel that the choice is personal to you. Both have their advantages but the ultimate decision depends on your preference, price range and the qualities most important to you. All of our Mined Diamonds are sourced from suppliers adhering to The Kimberley Process. For more advice, book an appointment with our team.
CUT
The cut often refers to the shape of a Diamond. It can also refer to how the Diamond has been cut to reflect light. A well cut Diamond will appear brighter, more brilliant and full of sparkle.
COLOUR
Diamond colour refers to how colourless or white the stone appears. The less colour present within a Diamond, the more valuable the Diamond will be.
CLARITY
Clarity describes the natural characteristics within a Diamond, often formed during its creation. Many of these are invisble to the naked eye and do not affect the overall beauty.
CARAT
Carat is the wright of a Diamond. Whilst often associated with the size, two Diamonds of the same carat can appear different depending on their cut and proportions.
