Traditionally, eternity rings are given to your spouse as a gesture for a significant anniversary or event in your life such as the birth of your first child. They are commonly set with Diamonds however since the 18th century, it has become more common to have other coloured gemstones set in the band.

It is important to take into account what the eternity ring will be sitting next to. Although the ring does not have to sit next to the engagement ring, traditionally all three rings are worn on the same finger. Consider what she already has, how the stones are set and what stones she already has. If you're not sure try sneaking a picture and bringing it instore to show us.
